Victoria: It was quite an easy decision actually to go with CIPHR and ESL. Just from everything that was presented to us on the day, it ticked all of the boxes. What the system could do for us and for our staff members, it was absolutely perfect.  

Bronwyn: The ease of the CIPHR system compared to the old system is, you know, there’s no comparison. With CIPHR it’s just a click of a few buttons, you’ve got the report that you need, and everything is done within a matter of minutes. It’s fantastic because we don’t have to necessarily be in the department, in the workplace, to be able to log in and sort something out.  

Victoria: They can just log in to the system and make that change for themselves. You know, we were in a situation previously where if a staff member went on holiday, they wanted to know how much they’ve been paid, or they wanted to book more holiday for example, they would have to phone in or email us. The fact that they can now log in to the system and go, you know, from anywhere in the world was such a huge win for all of our staff members.  

We now have complete buy-in across the organisation right from CEO across the business of everybody using the system.  

Bronwyn: The support that we’ve had from CIPHR has been incredible. So the implementation stage was actually a very smooth stage. Normally with implementation you do come across a lot of hiccups and what have you. But it seemed to be quite quick and pain free, I think, with CIPHR.  

Victoria: The reason, you know, why we went for it was because of the ease of the system. But actually, in fact, when we got into the project management right from the kickoff meeting, my confidence levels just soared. We had support all the way through the process with the CIPHR help desk, with the service desk, and also with Lorna, our account manager.  

Bronwyn: There’s various ways that we can contact the service desk, and we’ve done that either by just picking up the phone and speaking to them. We’ve also tried out the live chat, which has been great, and email as well. 

They’re very quick to respond. If they need to go away and find out about a particular concern or problem that we might be having, they always come back to us. So we do get that comeback, when somebody says they’ll comes back to us, they actually do.  

I would recommend CIPHR to any company that’s looking to change their HR system. The support that we’ve had, not only with the implementation, but the ongoing support has been incredible. The system is a lot simpler to use, and it’s an easy system to use. It’s just been great. 

Victoria: I would absolutely recommend it. The fact that they work with ESL so closely, the payroll provider, works a dream, and it’s like working with one organisation. If anybody has any kind of problems with their duplication with regards to their HR system and payroll, this is a perfect tool that they could use to integrate. It gives ease to the staff member, it saves cost across the business, and it just streamlines processes so well.  

Bronwyn: It’s so quick and easy to use, and it’s just made a huge difference to the way that we, you know, run on a day-to-day basis.
