What did ZPG want from an HR system?

When Claire Chester joined the HR team the staff headcount was around the 100 mark. Since that time the group has grown to over 800 employees. Supporting this expansion required robust systems across the organisation, including finance, sales and human resources. All three departments at ZPG began major technology projects in a bid to streamline processes, save time and money, and to deliver more complete management information back to the business with:

Implementing CIPHR

Ease of use and ease of implementation were two key criteria that ZPG was looking for, as well as self-service functionality and integration with the existing payroll system. Other features required were reporting and holiday logging. Rigorous research lead Claire to a shortlist of three companies.

A ZPG branded version of CIPHR was demonstrated to the decision makers at the Group, sharing its core features, integration capabilities and advanced reporting functionality. With the decision made to proceed with CIPHR, implementation began with a project planning meeting to scope out the system to meet real business objectives and set timelines for the various phases of the project.

A CIPHR consultant was allocated to the project and helped to build the system to ZPG’s exacting requirements while showing the team how to make the best of the system’s functionality. “The CIPHR consultant was fantastic!
