FCA NON-FINANCIAL MISCONDUCT
Build positive, protected workplaces
Expert off-the-shelf and bespoke eLearning, facilitated training and consultancy for non-banks to build a compliant, respectful, and transparent workplace culture in line with the FCA’s upcoming non-financial misconduct (NFM) rules
Non-financial misconduct (NFM) rules are changing
From September 2026, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will extend its non-financial misconduct (NFM) rules to cover all non-bank regulated firms. This regulatory shift is significant and places a greater emphasis on how firms prevent and handle misconduct such as bullying, harassment, and discrimination.
With decades of specialised experience in diversity, inclusion, and workplace conduct, Ciphr eLearning is uniquely positioned to help your firm navigate these new requirements. We provide expert-led training and consultancy that can help you embed meaningful, lasting change. And help you to proactively build a positive workplace culture that protects your people and your reputation.
We’ve collated some helpful resources to help you navigate the upcoming changes more effectively.

What is non-financial misconduct?
The FCA defines non-financial misconduct as behaviour that demonstrates a failure to meet its standards of fitness and propriety. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Bullying and harassment in the workplace
- Sexual harassment and misconduct
- Discrimination
- Victimisation
- Failure to promote a speak-up culture
The new rules mean firms must have robust policies, effective training, and clear procedures in place to mitigate the risk of NFM. Our suite of FCA compliance eLearning courses is designed to provide the knowledge and skills your teams need.
