Beyond benefits: what makes employees happy at work

Benefits help bring people in and keep them there. But ask employees what makes them happy at work, and salary and benefits only come sixth. Good colleagues, seeing the results of their work and being recognised for it all rank higher, according to Ciphr’s survey of 2,000 UK employees.

In this 30-minute panel, Gwenan West, head of people operations at Ciphr, and Karen Lough, director of people, look at what sits beyond the benefits package. They’ll share what the research shows, what they’ve learned running reward and recognition at Ciphr, and how to bring recognition into the same conversation as your benefits strategy.
