Ciphr's September 2026 releases bring a Ciphr LMS service pack, the Ciphr HR 2026.14 release and a usability improvement to the Ciphr AI Assistant. There is one action for customers using Assessment Builder, which is flagged below.

Ciphr HR 2026.14 was deployed to HR customers on the evening of 14 September 2026.

• Document viewer: improvements to how in-app documents are viewed

• Product fixes: a further set of fixes addressing customer-reported issues

The 2026.8 service pack lands for customers from week commencing Monday 21 September 2026.

• Action needed – Chrome change on 22 September 2026: assessments built in Assessment Builder need to be republished to pick up a fix that preserves learners’ answers when they close or switch tab

• Team Learning Progress widget: the widget now counts only the users who are required to complete an activity, and loads significantly faster on large sites

• AICC content (including ELFH): repeated completions no longer create duplicate History entries, and relaunched activities now show the review-mode dialogue

• Individually assigned journeys: “Mandatory” and “Launch on login if not completed” settings are now retained when a User Development Plan update is run

• Wider fixes: the service pack also resolves a batch of customer-reported tickets across the product

• Choose where the Assistant sits: a new docking button in the header lets users move the Assistant pane to either side of the screen, so it sits alongside whatever they are working on

Taken together, this month’s releases are about accuracy and everyday ease of use.

The Assessment Builder fix protects learners from losing their answers when Chrome changes on 22 September, so republishing assessments is worth doing promptly.

Reporting on team progress now reflects only the people who actually need to complete an activity, and large sites will notice the difference in load times.

Journey settings hold firm through development plan updates, AICC history stays clean, and document viewing in Ciphr HR is smoother.

The AI Assistant docking option is small but welcome – users can keep it out of the way of the screen they are working in.
