Ciphr’s June 2026 releases focus on HR accuracy, payroll integration improvements, and a smarter AI assistant.

June saw three HR releases, delivering enhancements and fixes across payroll integration, security, and multi-entity visibility.

Key highlights include:

• Holiday verification: approvers now see a warning if approving a holiday request would cause an employee to exceed their remaining allowance
• Payroll management: international employees can now be sent to payroll via the integration; an improved process for managing leavers through payroll management as part of the HR > Payroll integration, streamlining how leavers are processed and reducing manual intervention
• Multi-entity: improved visibility for restricted entities on org chart and who’s off
• Reporting: improved usability
• Security: security improvements to Ciphr sign-in

The AI assistant received an absence booking update in June, with significant improvements to how time off is recorded for non-standard work patterns.

The following enhancements are included:

• Flexi workers: time off now uses actual hours rather than a default 24-hour day – the assistant asks for the hours and records them accurately. Standard work patterns are unaffected

• Split-day bookings: different hours on different days can be recorded in a single booking (eg 06:00–13:00 Monday, 07:00–14:00 Tuesday), with correct hours captured per day

• Overnight shifts: shifts that cross midnight are now correctly split across the two days
