Menstrual health and endometriosis in the workplace – survey results

Ciphr

Ciphr teamed up with the charity Endometriosis UK to conduct joint research into how menstrual health and conditions like endometriosis are being supported in UK workplaces. Over 120 HR professionals were surveyed in May and June 2025.

The findings (published on 30 September) show that many employers still have a big gap in organisational awareness and readiness to support employees living with endometriosis and other menstrual health conditions.

The full results are available here – Breaking the stigma: What HR teams need to know about endometriosis and menstrual health

The report also includes ‘talking points’ – a range of practical suggestions of ways employers can help empower managers to create a supportive environment for those with endometriosis, and ensure their organisation approaches menstrual health with the same care and attention as any other health issue.
