How would you describe the impact of Ciphr’s LMS and eLearning content  at Bunzl?

The LMS is a one-stop shop for our people to access compliance training, role-specific training and opportunities for broader personal development. The compliance training management enables us to be audit-ready and provides visibility for line managers to monitor individual and team performance in real time. The [Ciphr] eLearning content has strengthened our DEI strategy at Bunzl, providing our people with access to high-quality, informative content.

 

What challenges were you facing before, and what’s improved since implementing the LMS and Ciphr's eLearning content? What's been the impact of DEI at Bunzl?  

The LMS looks and feels professional and engaging, and is simple for our people to access and use. This drives higher engagement with the LMS and, in turn, improves our compliance rates. The [eLearning] content has supported our DEI strategy and has generated great conversations in our business on important topics such as neurodiversity and sexual harassment.

How have your employees found the platform and eLearning content? 

Our people start their learning journeys as soon as they are onboarded and we survey new joiners during their first 30 days with the business. 83% of new joiners say the platform is easy to use and that the content is right in terms of volume and understanding.

 

What’s one thing that really stands out to you about working with Ciphr or using the LMS?

Our relationship with our account management team is really positive. Having dedicated team members to call upon for different aspects of our needs, whether that is technical support, product development, customer satisfaction or expediting issue resolution, makes a real difference.

 

Have you seen any noticeable changes since introducing the LMS and eLearning content?

Our compliance rates sit consistently between 80 and 90%, which is really positive. In terms of engagement and awareness, the [eLearning] content receives consistently positive feedback. We have curated engaging induction learning journeys which are making a positive contribution to the early weeks and months for our new joiners.

What metrics are you using to quantify success, and what results have you seen so far?

Compliance rates, employee satisfaction surveys and onboarding surveys are all showing positive results.

 

How did you find the process of implementing and rolling out the LMS and eLearning content?

We are a complex and decentralised business, so this was a tricky process – but working with the Ciphr team we have been created a platform that meets our needs and is easy for both learners and line managers to engage with.

 

Would you recommend Ciphr? If so, what would you say to another organisation considering us?

I would not hesitate to recommend Ciphr. I would advise an organisation considering Ciphr to put in lots of effort working with the technical team up front, to ensure the setup is right for them before going live. Taking that time will be worth it to ensure implementation and adoption is a positive experience for people in the business.
